Nice to see the flowers blooming. Here is a photo from a small pond in the Geneva countryside taken April 3 - trees were still bare but most have started to bloom.
The same sparrow that I featured the other day in closeup.....for this shot I changed perspective and focal length in order to put him into context as he was sitting among the newly budding Azaleas.

Got my RF 85mm f/1.2 yesterday and went out to test it out. At f/1.2 it's tack sharp and almost no chromatic aberrations at all.

Your cat looks exactly like Ruby whom I lost in March. Your pics bring both a smile to my face and tears to my eyes. I miss her SO much.
The pic I posted previously is our last remaining cat in the house. They differ by 5 years. She can definitely feel the sadness in the air.

You are right, she looks a lot like my Sinclair.
And I feel the same way about Sherlock, our Snowshoe cat who we lost to cancer a few days before Christmas. Like the Pink Floyd song goes, "Wish You Were Here"

My eyes aren’t what they used to be. When shooting MF I use focus peaking as a crutch. At this point in my life I *need* a good EVF if I am trying to focus manually. Or I have to hope that the AF on the body I am using is both accurate and reliable for what I am trying to get in focus.
