"Cumberland Island National Seashore is the largest and southernmost barrier island in Georgia, offering guests over 17 miles of secluded white, sandy beaches. Wild horses and other island wildlife roam freely throughout the ruins and along the beach. Glimpses of the Carnegie lifestyle can be easily imagined throughout the ruins of Dungeness, abandoned luxury vehicles, Plum Orchard, and Greyfield Inn. Located just off the Georgia Coast of St. Marys. Island is accessible by ferry only.'

every night is great when we hear "flomps" on the house and see these wonderful frogs!
they eat flies and other objects, which should be a reality show!

There is a small lake about 15kms from where I live. On warm lazy afternoons I sometimes enjoy a pleasant solo paddle around this lake. When I return home I always have a handfull of images which seldom live up to my expectations. Hey shooting from a small drifting boat, with a waterproof camera is always iffy, one water droplet on the lens and there is no image. Anyways a couple of exceptions from this last trip. Part of a reed bank at the west end of Lee Lake.

Thank you. This one, along 90 more photos, was taken perhaps a week ago. The auroras display was mild compared to the one last night. This one was spectacular, and I took around 214 photos. Out of those, I will choose a few good ones, but it takes a lot of time to edit them. I will post some in the near future.
