Took a few photos of the Auroras a couple of nights ago before it got very cloudy. The lights weren't very bright while I was at this spot (shown in the photo), so I returned home around 2:00 AM, then before getting in bed at 3:00 AM and looking out the window, the Aurora display was quite beautiful. I took perhaps 70 photos that look similar to this one, except for the tripod shown, of course :)

R6 with an "adapted" Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8 @ 16mm, 1250 ISO/4-second exposure. While the truck was idling, I partially opened the window and held the camera on top of the glass for 4 seconds. Edited with DXO PhotoLab 5 and the NIK software bundle.

Cape Blanco Light Station. The westward side of the station is a flat bluff where (at the moment) you can not explore due to habitat preservation, so the best views were looking north or south. Today though, the station (looking north):
