One from earlier this week...

Fuji X-T3 with XF 16-55mm f2.8, no filters. 16 Lights and 8 darks stacked and aligned in StarryLandscapeStacker. PP in LR then PS. I tried to remove the car but it was too time consuming to do properly, so just left it in :/
I think there's some weird artefacts in there from shooting in gradually fading light, which is possibly resulting from the stacking? Kinda reminds me of when you shoot the night with a UV filter on (I don't), where a funny pattern appears in the image. Not quite as severe, but it's there. Once you see it, you won't unsee it - which kinda ruins the image in my view :/

A walk around Grain marshes on the Hoo Peninsula area of Kent, with a brand new one-lens-to-rule-them-all, and an idea to capture some of the plentiful wildlife that abounds around here.

You know what, the message must've been passed on there was someone with a camera - no herons, no harriers, no ducks, just one solitary butterfly :(

Starting off my journey by climbing over the stile onto the marshes...

Nikon Z 50, Tamron 18-400mm, 18mm, 1/500 @ f/8

Cheers :)

Don’t worry. All the wildlife will be present next time you are out without your camera!

…or they show up when you have the wrong lens on your camera.
Which is why I bought a lens with such an absurd focal range ;)

As you can see, with a closest focus of 18" it renders this butterfly pretty well at 400mm...

Nikon Z 50, Tamron 18-400mm, 400mm, 1/640 @ f/8, straight out of camera with no post processing.

Cheers :)
