When we lived there the national joke about America was: "It's like sleeping next to an elephant, you never know when it is going to roll over!" It was very clean then too, real estate developers snapped up any abandoned houses or lots quickly. No slums to speak of. As an American, I was never prouder than the day the first shuttle landed at Edward AFB. To this day I get a lump in my throat when ever they play Oh Canada at an event. No problem! You are so blessed and lucky! You got to live in all the big and cool cities. ❤️
I just got back from Toronto, Canada on Sunday. Checked off from the bucket list. Toronto has so much to offer. I had a fantastic time. I love how clean it was and it's growing fast. It's well diverse and people were amiable. Believe it or not, I'm still processing everything and it's hard now to see how amazing the city is. Last night I woke up at 3:00 AM wide awake and still having vivid dreams about the city and the places I visited. 🫠

Fantastic looking building, lot of great architecture in Toronto. I remember there was a competition for the new Scarborough Town Hall. All the architects submitted models and renderings except Jason Moriyama, Toronto most famous architect. He showed up and told the committee what he would design and why they needed it. He got the job.🏙️ Great Gulf - The Penthouses - One Bloor - Beyond Words. (Completed: Late 2017 - Floor Count: 76)
