I just got back from Toronto, Canada on Sunday. Checked off from the bucket list. Toronto has so much to offer. I had a fantastic time. I love how clean it was and it's growing fast. It's well diverse and people were amiable. Believe it or not, I'm still processing everything and it's hard now to see how amazing the city is. Last night I woke up at 3:00 AM wide awake and still having vivid dreams about the city and the places I visited. 🫠

When we lived there the national joke about America was: "It's like sleeping next to an elephant, you never know when it is going to roll over!" It was very clean then too, real estate developers snapped up any abandoned houses or lots quickly. No slums to speak of. As an American, I was never prouder than the day the first shuttle landed at Edward AFB. To this day I get a lump in my throat when ever they play Oh Canada at an event.

Fantastic looking building, lot of great architecture in Toronto. I remember there was a competition for the new Scarborough Town Hall. All the architects submitted models and renderings except Jason Moriyama, Toronto most famous architect. He showed up and told the committee what he would design and why they needed it. He got the job.

Red panda at Bradley Zoo. Just missed him outside as people in way and couldn’t focus as was dreading in.

Well, I traveled a little distance to take some pictures in Shelby Township which I believe is in Macomb County, Michigan. I didn't setup up my camera properly when I got there and missed out on a lot good shots of the bald eagle flying. I still did manage to take some good picture of the eagle(s). Oh well, I now know better the next time and I did get some better locations of eagles from the people there that are closer to my location. Though I can say I scratch something off my living list. I don't like the term bucket list.
I think the Bald Eagle

is one of most majestic birds that God (or whoever you believe in) has created and I’m glad it is the symbol of the United States. To think Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey as the symbol for the United States .
