No, my spouse and I did not. We were on one of those 16 passenger, high speed, bus tours, for one day, out of Glasgow. If I had it to do over again I would hire a car and go at our own pace.Did you manage to visit Aberfeldy, a few miles from Pitlochry? My late wife had family there and we stayed a couple of times.

The countryside and the towns are so beautiful! It was killing me not to take my time to really enjoy, and take pictures. I hope to go back to Scotland and pace ourselves next time around.
I remember when we visited relatives in Pitlochry some attendant wanted us to pay £2 for a wee in the toilets near the coach park, hoping to catch tourists out. I told them where to go and found the free toilets in town
Most glorious countryside around there though, but I’m unlikely to go back again as it’s over a 500 mile drive from my home in the South. I love Scotland.

Every time I look at this image, I have massive regrets of not using dslr for it. Not really sure what it is about, but this scene always pull into it for some reason.

When I scroll this image on my iPad Pro with ProMotion there is some “waves“ or “curls” on the building, going from the bottom to the top.
Hard to describe it.
On my iPhone (with 60Hz display) it doesn’t appear😁

.. was finally able to observe a star magnolia blossum fully-open, and at a height I could catch a photo.
