Going back through some old photos as now I can practically have unlimited amounts on Flickr.

As always, comments appreciated.

I love it, as someone just learning about photography, all of your photos have a quality about them that really stands out and just looks 'pro'. It's good to pick up tips from this thread, now I have an of how to angle similar shots - I probably wouldn't have thought of that!

Here's one I took today at a car show.

Snap with my photo for today!

Thanks for the compliments! I am far from pro through. Since finishing university I have started freelancing and found that it is much easier to get video work rather than stills work. Probably because I have all the video equipment I need and a better portfolio. My stills is just a lot of nothing and I really need to sort it out!

A similar shot to Fireman32.

Did I just photograph a ghost soldier? see the image at the end of the concrete wall!

This photo was taken at Berry Head in Devon UK while my family was on holiday. When I took the photo there was nothing in there, It's only when I viewed the image in the computer that I notice the image. I know nothing at Berry Head history but a quick googling says that it was meant to protect Torbay against french invasion.... or maybe just my imagination:).

A plane shot from me that I took back probably a few months ago:

F/2.8. 1/10sec ISO3200 - 150mm, hand-held.

Note the wings - with the new "sharklets" instead of the traditional arrow style winglets normally seen on Airbus A320 planes.

Nikon D90, 80mm, ISO 200, f/11.

Just started out with photography. Criticism and ideas for improvement are very welcome!

A quick break in the rain this evening so I was straight out into the garden. Sadly the sunflower (and the Bee!) are passed their best. I think he needs a good dose of sunshine to dry off a bit. He was still moving a bit, but he's been sat on there for days.

I like them both. Here is my attempt.

It seems to be the month of automobile badges so far!

Suppose I am breaking the trend but here is a shoot from last week when a friend came over asking for some new photos for his clothing facebook page.

Never really done anything like this before so it was pretty good to dive into the deep end and experiment. Because it was for a friend and therefore free it was really nice to have no pressure on me for the final result and it was a good introduction into trying to meet a brief for a project.

As always, comments appreciated!
