This was up before but I'm feeling left out.

Just another summer night

Imagine we are only one solar system.....the closest star to earth is 4.2 light years away.

Starry starry night

That's a pretty cool shot, especially because I know the area. The next time you're out, try painting the house with a little additional light. If you have a big flashlight, use that, or if you have the ability to set up a remote flash that would be good too but a little more lights on the house for context would make the picture pop I really like it though. You are so lucky to have all of that dark sky.

I was pretty taken with this photograph when I first saw it. I thought if you Photoshop in a short contrail it would be so cool. Just saying.

I'm on fire

:) Thanks for hinking of me. I actually owned a truck very similar to this one many years ago. One time while I was eating a nice meal in a restaurant, it caught on fire. The battery was located under the rear seat and I must have put something heavy on that seat because the underwires crossed the terminals on the battery, and voilà a nice blaze!

I am currently on a whirlwind trip to Central Pennsylvania, and I did not take my DSLR with me. I am a goof.

Later.

Last days of a den of inequity

Liked the morning lighting and the harbouring of someone's treasures in the doorway. Apparently the site will be redeveloped...
