Serengeti Zebra

I was fortunate to experience my second safari in Africa in May. Last time was Zambia, this time it was Tanzania. The Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire were incredible sights. Important to me was that each presented wonderful opportunities to see and photograph the wildlife of Africa in their wild and natural habitat.

Very nice. I'd love to go on a real safari one day.

Thanks AFB. A safari in Africa is a nice goal to have and is wonderful to think about.

For me, the experience went far beyond photography. Sleeping in a tent in the middle of the Serengeti with Hyenas barking at the edge of the camp and lions roaring in the distance left an impression that I'll never forget.

TBH for reasons I'm not going to go into here, it's never going to happen for me.
[doublepost=1470227675][/doublepost]Similar to the one I posted in the dancing competition last week. I liked the look on his face as he was munching away. Glad they weren't my flowers!

Alfa Romeo's Giulia Quadrifoglio

After a year of corporate shoots and endless dull products, I'm finally playing with something more interesting. I'm going for 'menacing' here. Comments and criticism very welcome.
Um my comment is ... can I has one? :) My dad has two Alfa's, I want a 4c, but I can't even afford the 35,000 for an additional parking space.

The picture is nice, the dark drop off at the tail is a great effect and you still have enough light to capture the lines. How does one get to studio photo graph these? *jealous*

Nicely done.

Thank you!

I'm afraid I don't get to keep them! I'm generally now asked to do the images for PR and marketing agencies for the manufacturers or importers. My way in was the usual route, by starting out persuading friends/family to let me photograph their cars to build up a portfolio and then to start working for magazines and websites. I then started building relationships with the people sending the cars for reviews. It has been a slow process (interspersed with more mundane work to bring in the money) but I'm just starting to be trusted with the more interesting cars now.
