The first of many from my day out yesterday. Had a real good time at the Wild Arena Macro day (anybody into Macro in the UK should really check it out).
This guy was about 4 centimetres long but sat nice and still under the studio lights. I'd love to have a set up like that at home, but I don't have all the bugs etc. to photograph (or the room).

I didn't realize what was going on here until I got home and got it up on a big screen . I just took it as a test shot to make sure my ring light was communicating with my camera the way I wanted . Both the spider and the fly are tiny , maybe 4mm each , tops .

7D2 , 100/2.8 , f11@1/250 , ISO 400 , ringlite , custom function set to a default 1/250 shutter speed when in AV and using a flash.
