Attended an after hours event in Magic Kingdom at Disney World. Great opportunity for photos. Here is the iconic Cinderella Castle.

Nice capture, although your skydome is more impressive!

He looks a bit like the Pringles guy to me.

Huh, yeah, there IS a resemblance!

Only time I ever bought a can of Pringles was to use the plastic translucent cap as a sort of diffusion filter.....

Actually, Natty Boh was well-known long before the Pringles guy..... Pringles didn’t really begin nationwide marketing in the US until the early 1970’s and Natty Boh has been around in Baltimore since the 1930’s.

I've not had pringles in years. But they are nice!

A few days ago we were talking about Baltimore and the iconic "Natty Boh" logo on top of the Natty Boh Tower (former home of National Bohemian Beer)..... Well, this evening I finally remembered to look for my images of Natty Boh at night, and here he is, up close and personal:

I once saw a sticker on the back of a car of the 'Natty Boh' guy but with an afro and an afro pick. This guy was called Natty Bro; I found this quite amusing and it brought a smile to my face on the way in to work.

Was doing a lifestyle shoot at an old vintage style vinyl record store... and saw this car (Oldsmobile starfire) sitting out front.

I find this beautiful. Maybe I'll be able to do something like this one day. In the meantime I offer this ... :)

Went to a contemporary art park today called Jupiter Artland near Edinburgh. It was fantastic. Need to go back again.

Agree. Looks like a great place to take a drone if they are allowed.

Not been shooting much of late as work and Mrs AFB have been keeping me busy.
However the other night we had bats in the garden. Not had them here before so I was pretty pleased. Even though it is an awful shot, I was pleased to have got a photo of one.

ISO6400 on a D7100 is barely usable. This is also shot through our patio door.
I took 65 shots and got a bit of bat in 6. This was the best!

that looks super fun!

It was a great surprise. Much better than expected it to be.

Not sure to be honest. Think it is within restricted airspace of Edinburgh airport but yes it would be interesting to see it from above.

Better to ask for forgiveness than permission! ;)

Took me a while and some zooming-in, enlarging on my 15" MBP screen to see the bat, and lo and behold, there he was!!! Rather challenging shooting conditions you had, so no surprises that it was so difficult to finally capture one. The darned things move very, very quickly, too, which only makes grabbing a photo even more difficult.

They move much less predictably than birds to. Obviously just using their bat sense to follow the insects.

Mine is another night shot of a difficult scene.....When we were at the bayside in Ocean City, NJ, when we looked away from the boats on the bay and behind us, we saw a ferris wheel, a lovely one with multiple colors in neon lights.... Capturing a decent image wasn't so easy as it was far away from us and also there was some sort of fencing which also blocked part of the view, too. At any rate, I kept trying to get at least one nice image and was fiddling with shutter speeds, aperture, focus, the whole works, and at some point I got one of those accidental shots which IMO turned out to be rather interesting on its own....

Glad you mentioned it was a Ferris wheel! I might have struggled to guess otherwise.

I still haven't figured out how that happened!!! Must've clicked the shutter button at some weird interim period as I had the camera in continuous high (drive) and continuous focus...... Further (slight) cropping and a bit of sharpening in the computer post-processing emphasizes the elements I wanted to nail down once I saw what I'd accidentally shot. Someone may have spoken to me just then and I briefly turned my attention away from what I was shooting, I really don't know what happened here but I kind of like it! LOL! Accidental shots can be interesting.... I tend to be partial to abstract kinds of images, too, so this was right up my alley when I saw it. What it actually may have been doesn't always matter, it's the impact of an image one is seeing right in front of them that makes the most difference sometimes....?

I have not yet actually processed the images which are more indicative of what the subject actually was supposed to be, but even when reviewing the images prior to processing, in many cases it is difficult to be sure what the actual subject is, as the focus was on the neon lighting and I was quite a distance away, which even with the long lens on the RX10 M4, was tricky shooting. Not a clear view, either, with a fence or something in the way, too. Mostly lines of bright neon colors.....
