If you look top centre in the picture, that red building is the Hotel La Sireneuse. One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever had the pleasure to stay in.

270 seconds of my life, enjoying some amazing salt spray along the further peninsula, where it actually made a jetty and a whole heap of beachfront real-estate disappear from sight!

He didn't last long after his few minutes modelling for me and he had an extended life anyway. I found him upside down in my dog's water bowl, I rescued him onto a piece of paper where he sat and dried himself off, I took some pictures and then the best bit, I squashed him! He would've died in the water bowl anyway!
Thanks again, AFB. It was taken at a really high tide, where the water was covering the entire beach, which gives me an idea of what sort of height of tide I should look out for in future, to time getting the shot I want there.
