Love it! Positano still one of the most beautiful places I have been I think.

If you look top centre in the picture, that red building is the Hotel La Sireneuse. One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever had the pleasure to stay in.

Thank you for triggering lovely memories.

Looks almost like an infrared in B&W - nice.

Cheers :)

Another 270 seconds of my life at a local beach.

U.K.
looks like the first scene of a apple commercial for the iphonex

I wish, i wouldn't ever have to work again! You don't, by any chance, know any at Apple? o_O

Comment: huuurgh! Creepy crawly...

He didn't last long after his few minutes modelling for me and he had an extended life anyway. I found him upside down in my dog's water bowl, I rescued him onto a piece of paper where he sat and dried himself off, I took some pictures and then the best bit, I squashed him! He would've died in the water bowl anyway!

There was eggs in the bowl, they were floating next to the fly. Don't worry the water went straight down the drain and his bowl was washed out and refilled. They were little white tubular things a bit like tiny, waxy suppositories!

I think I might have to send this lens off for a minor adjustment, it doesn't seem to focus accurately across the scene at certain focal lengths. I used liveview at 10x magnification to nail focus on the foremost right tree trunk, which it has done, but the left side is considerably soft...

Anyways, this is the steep and long formally planted out entrance driveway to a local winery. I just wish you had a bit more of a glimpse of the giant dam and the visitor centre which overlooks it from up here.

This one to.
Thanks again, AFB. It was taken at a really high tide, where the water was covering the entire beach, which gives me an idea of what sort of height of tide I should look out for in future, to time getting the shot I want there.

270 seconds well spent mate.
Glad you enjoyed it, Ken. It's one I might do a bit more editing on and have printed at A2 size.
