What kind of telescope were you using?
An inexpensive Sarblue Maksutov-Cassegrain 60 with Dobsonian Mount.

I forgot which lens I used, likely a 3x Barlow with a 4mm lens, all mounted on a heavy Manfrotto tripod.
The Dobsonian mount is great for on the go stuff, takes seconds to aim and view. But the massive Manfrotto is much more stable and smooth.

Nice little scope. I have an old Meade ETX-60AT with auto-tracking that I haven't pulled out in a long time - need to do that again!

Anyone use a monitor calibration unit like a Spyder X, and your view of its use and accuracy.
I use a ColorChecker Display Pro Plus (formally the X-rite brand). I'm a little biased as I work for Europe's leading Colour Management specialist.

I think a monitor calibrator is essential if colour accuracy is important to you. Otherwise you are guessing and gambling on your eyes being up to the task.
