@r.harris1 Excellent photo of One Blackfriars building. Isn't it known as a Vase or something? I am a sucker when it comes to the iconic landmark. Did you get a chance to go inside the building?

Thank you! I unfortunately didn't get a chance to go inside the building. The London skyline has so many iconic buildings: The Shard, The Gherkin, Lloyd's, along with the obvious older ones like St Paul's, Houses of Parliament and so on. One of my all time favorite cities.

Sunset, Minerva Hoyt Trail, Joshua Tree National Park. Minerva Hoyt was the force behind the creation of Joshua Tree National Park (first as a National Monument) by lobbying FDR and Congress on behalf of desert spaces that needed preservation and protection. She also pushed for preservation of lands that became Death Valley National Park and the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Beautiful shot, really captures the feel of Joshua Tree. Haven't been there in awhile, thanks for taking me back. :)

back from a whirlwind college tour of eight schools in seven days. looking forward to my own bed tonight! i did not take nearly enough photos but most of which I did were on film...one of my few digital images (I knew I should have left my digital camera at home...I shot this just to justify carrying it all week. 😉 )
