In a coffee shop.
These are flowers from my grandson to his mother (my daughter) who is currently admitted to the oncology department at St. Luke's hospital Boise, Idaho. We have been here since Wednesday when we were told my daughter has a very agressive type of cancer - leukemia ALL. She got her first dose of chemo yesterday. We are all in shock and overwhelmed with all that's happening. I haven't been posting as I'm obviously not taking photos, but when I have time I am still enjoying everyone's images. My daughter's life has drastically changes as has mine as I will be her caregiver. Photography is on the back burner, but as this new life unfolds, I hope someday I'll be able to return to finding beautiful things to capture. ❤️

Thank you everyone for your support, posts, and well wishes. It all means so much to me. Tiffany is doing better today and her platelet count has gone way down since her chemo began. Monday they are going to put a shunt in her brain (they would normally do a spinal tap, but she has a rare genetic condition that's complicating things) so we are just coasting through the weekend. The hospital is 3 hours from our home so the logistics are another complication, but they are taking very good care of us here and family and friends have been incredible with their support.

Thank you all again.
