Very sublime, Peter. This should be on a wall somewhere, like in my office.

Thanks Florian and I'd be more than happy to send you a copy.

The last shot of Moondancer - for now - and not a new image...

I must say, I was a bit bored of your earlier "series" of green hills in varied mid-day lighting, but here, same boat but looks so distinctly different in each shot. Not getting bored at all :) And btw, if you call it a Moondancer, where is the shot of it under moonlight? ;)

Burano Island.

I think I agree with this. We need to see Moondancer under the moonlight! Do you do much night photography Doylem? :)

The last for now from my local beach, until I get back there again! :p

This is taken from the end of the boat-ramp or slipway, looking right, so the jetty is directly behind us. The concrete is just visible on the bottom of frame where it's merging with the sand.

I'm a sucker for these long exposure black and whites, nailed it :) It's always worth the struggle :p

Thanks, Reef! It will be interesting to see the difference when there is a still wind. I'm hoping for mirror-like reflections.

Saved the best for last!

I only have Lightroom. Here's what it looks like in B&W with a bit of tinkering. I think I prefer it.

I think you nailed it perfectly! Without the distraction of colour, it's all about the form, patterns and dimension.

Don't you see all of his other posts? He is always in the pub by then!

(Sorry Doylem, couldn't resist!)

BTW I never grow tired of your landscape or waterscape pictures. I might have to sort myself a weekend away in the new year. Not that far for me to travel. I might go a bit further though. I would love to shoot up in Northumberland. Some beautiful cost and castles up there.

Agree, a much stronger shot in B & W.

Let it snow! This is about the only guaranteed snow we get in Atlanta - fake snow on the stage of the Fox theater.

Quite enjoying the fog we are getting in the UK at the moment.

A real pea souper. We have had nothing like that in the midlands.

Received another round of snow on Tuesday. This is at sunset after the storm moved out.

I'm really digging this. Nice work.

Lovely warm sky. I can't wait for a bit of snow here.
