Beautiful. What’s that yellow thing in the middle? It’s been so long since we saw it!Christmas night sunset...
Taken with the iPhone X
Thank you. I have a few different aspects of this shot. It was a warm summers evening so I played for a while. But as usual when I get out to shoot a sunset, the sun didn’t really give me what I wanted!AFB, on your lovely image, my first thought was to maybe crop the grassy area some more, but it also looks good just as it is...... Experiment a little, see what you think.....
Agreed. But if I’m washing up in the kitchen, you can guarantee a terrific sky! This is one of those shots where it's hard to really decide which looks best as several different croppings can offer good possibilities. Yeah, that darned sun sometimes just does not cooperate when we really need it to do so!!

I'm yet to play with one of these, but have seen some amazingly creative uses of them! Looking forward to your explorations with them.I received one of those glass 'lens balls' as a gift. I took it along to the beach Christmas night and shot a few frames with it.

Got bored so went over to NYC to see if I could find this guy . Tried a few weeks back but he decided to take a vacation to NJ . Didn't have the decency to call and let me know so I spent the bus fare for nought .

Maybe I'll go back on the weekend with a lens in a slightly larger size.
