I KNOW my house has many fewer flowers or plants, either inside or out, than Molly's!
In the spring when walking around the neighborhood I can find some flowers to shoot and we have some landscaping on the grounds here, but it is rather limited in scope. My favorite time is when the Tulip Magnolias start to blossom, as they are wonderful to capture in a photographic image. Obviously in wintertime in this area flowers are in short supply anywhere unless one buys them at a store with the specific intention of using them as a potential subject, and in the long-ago past (during that incomplete POTD) I have done that, along with purchasing pieces of fruit or vegetables that I never ate, just photographed.......
The point here is that there are all kinds of subjects just sitting around anyone's house or inside a local shop ready for purchase, from simple kitchen utensils to bathroom accessories to decorative items on the walls or on shelves to fruits and vegetables or other items we customarily ingest..... One friend on another forum likes to take photos of wine bottles and food or the utensils used in preparing that food.
Potential photographs are everywhere! We just need to learn and practice being able to see them and then shoot them.......
