In Sweden we have something that is called ‘squeeze day’, or ‘klämdag’ in Swedish, it’s a day of the week that falls between a public holiday and a weekend.

From 2008, Sutter Creek, California. Taken with my wife's D40 and likely the stock lens (no VR). On-camera flash. Photos says this is a purple passionflower.
iso 200 (as low as the D40 goes) and lens at 202mm (so, not stock lens--some Nikkor zoom), f 8.0, 1/60.
