Love the back roads of California
Taken safely by my helmet cam.
A Christmas tree on the roadside of a church in Hualien City on the east coast of Taiwan. Shot with a Nikon F4 and a Nikkor AF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 lens on Kodak Gold 200 film pushed one stop, stopped all the way down with a long exposure of something like 45 seconds, developed and scanned at home.

Boeing Museum of Flight, Seattle - McDonnell F-4C Phantom II. This F-4C was built in 1965 and served in Vietnam. It is depicted as it appeared in May 1967 while flying with the USAF 389th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the 366th Tactical Fighter Wing, when this aircraft shot down three North Vietnamese MiG-21 aircraft.
Don't usually comment here, but that brings back some memories. My father worked for McDonnell from 1946-1984 and was heavily involved with the development of the F4 and other projects. In 1966 he was the Department Manager for the Design Specialist staff, then Director of Aircraft Design Engineering in 1969 and Director of Advanced Fighter/Attack Systems in 1974.
I grew up on steady diet of all that stuff, but went my own way in college and had a successful career in the arts. We went through some difficult years during the Vietnam era, but ultimately became close again.
