Just back from a winter getaway vacation

Very nice Florian.

This has to be Maui...I recognize those tiki torches! I got back from Hawaii a couple weeks ago. Did Hawaii, Oahu, Kauai and Maui. Wow, wow, wow...what a beautiful place.

Looking forward to seeing more from your vacation. It will be a while before I can put up any shots as I have a lot to go through.

Well done Florian and I think I recognize those flukes as well. Lahaina is beautiful and has it all...shopping for my wife, photo ops for me and great restaurants for us both. Love it!

Really good price for that kit! Try playing with the "Focus Peaking" feature and manual focusing (or DM-F which auto focuses but lets you make adjustments).

It's one of the most interesting features of the NEX cameras. All the hard edges (areas in focus) glow red so you can quickly manually focus or make adjustments as needed. Have fun!

Nothing wrong with learning! Pretty sure we are all still learning here. Don't forget to ask anything you want to know as I can vouch that there are a good bunch of people here willing to help out!

Nothing serious from me again. It'll be a long time before I get to take the sort of shots I really enjoy I fear!
