Well it's not a pancake one!

We generally have one cloud too. Just covers all the blue!

I'll get the coffees. You pay for the petrol!

You need to break out the Karcher!

Not my garden !!

I wonder if I'm not alone in realising why the place of this photo is called Granite Island? I really wanted this one to be a long-exposure, but the cloud gods weren't playing fairly at this point in the day. I'll be back here too for more attempts to get that LE I want, when I can get access again.

Beautiful photo. Love the black and white.
Thanks, Karen. Glad you liked it and enjoy your warmer weather!

Wait till you see the size of his lens!!

Telescopic?

It's a mirror one!
I'm picturing one of these for some reason...

home again...
I'm sure there is a story behind that statue, but I find it a little disturbing!

Was looking for an S-curve for the weekly contest and found this from last June. Completely redid the edit to make the background and foreground lighter to draw attention onto the chipmunk.

I fancied a cover photo change on my fb photography page and I wanted to use an image that I quite liked, but didn't think looked good enough to post on its own. Adding my page logo to it seemed to fit well and I felt I was able to finally put the image to use. I really want to go back and reshoot the scene with my panoramic film camera and some Ilford B&W film, probably PanF+ 50 and FP4 125. I'll need similar conditions next year and more elevation though.

A Tern of some sort, on the causeway to Granite Island.

Nice. Makes me feel cold just looking at it.

As for the status, a bit weird. But each to their own I guess!

I like it.

It was cold. And with tonnes of snow.
The statue park is really worth visiting. It pictures scenes from all stages of life. Have a look at the images on the park website
