Nice. I like the red and white contrast.
Thank you, young man.
Cheers

Nice. I was trying to find a composition this morning, but we didn't have enough snow. Should be better tomorrow.

Does your wife have a problem getting you to work often then? I didn't know you wore a uniform! Also feels like a days holiday not having to do the whole packed lunch prep, uniform put on fight, teeth cleaning, face washing, out to school trauma...

Well quick order the M10 before she gets back!lol... she is stuck in Germany on a business trip.
Its march mate...
It's another day down under, so here's the pared-back version of the last image, where I moved a little closer to the giant sandbags and the water and removed a whole stack of detritus from the frame in PP, including a whole bunch of people who didn't move very much.

Yeah, but, no... It's a bunch of giant sandbags that the surf life savers use to launch their longboats from. They are about 1500x1500mm in size and get replaced once or twice a year as they get thrown about quite a bit during storms and severe seas, even though we are way up in a gulf here.
Just between you and me, Ken. I get it right in PP, most times. I don't own a grad filter at all and as a consequence, aim for good overall exposure, with no blown out or blocked up details. I know that a good exposure at 1/250 will give me a 4.5 minute exposure perfectly using my Formatt-Hitech Firecrest 16 stop filter.Sorry my earlier example was maybe a bad one. This is the type of image i want to be able to take. I have all these places stored up ready but i cannot get the transition right from ground to sky...
