Cheers AFB - I agree with you. The portrait format gives a better composition. Played around with a few versions and angles when eating my butties...
I only live 7 miles from it, so I'm there a lot. I haven't really explored a lot of places to shoot from the mountain until this year. Last night I got a few nice sky shots from a spot I only discovered in the past couple of weeks.
Here's one I took on 2/16. After that day it clouded up and rained every day until this past Sunday when it finally cleared up. This shot isn't that different from spots I've used higher up on the mountain. However, in one I'll share later, it has different foreground scenery compared to the one I shared yesterday.
