Taken this past weekend using Live Composite with my Olympus OM-D 1 Mk II:

Very nicely done! I hope you don't mind me saying but the composite giveaway is the star trail superimposed on top of the tree on the right. A bit of clone repair in post would get rid of that though.

Nice! That's great, gives you a nice range from 17 - 75 now in just two lenses. I hear Tamron is coming out with a new lens, I think it is 70-180 mm.....not sure of what the f/ is, if it is a fixed/constant aperture or if it is a variable aperture. If it is f/2.8, that would complete your trinity! :). I'm also not sure what mounts the new lens will be available in, although I do know that Sony's e-mount is one, and presumably the usual suspects' mounts will also be included.

I've concentrated more on the longer reach end of the scale more than the wider end so far, so that at the moment my widest lens is 35mm. I am not a landscape photographer nor a real estate photographer so don't shoot wide a whole lot; for the time being it hasn't been a priority the way macro and also telephoto reach both were, but at some point I do want to get something a bit wider to expand my possibilities.

Somewhere packed in boxes I go from 10.5mm to 500mm. Hopefully I’ll be able to get them out soon.

I don't think I will be picking up a zoom lens as I rarely go beyond 50mm. In fact a majority of my photos have been shot on my Samyang 35mm F2.8 pancake lens. That lens is so small that it makes my A7III look like a point and shoot camera. I've been using the Tamron 28-75 for everything else though and love the versatility and quality photos it produces. Now that I have wider focal lengths, endless possibilities have just doubled :)

AFB, you are going to have SUCH fun when you are finally able to enjoy your cameras and lenses again! You'll be like a kid in a candy store and tasting new experiences and new visual treats all over again...... You'll be able to explore your new neighborhood and environs and beyond and there will be all kinds of new shooting experiences out there for you. Spring, Summer and Fall are just around the corner, all offering amazing opportunities!

Since the lenses you mentioned earlier are both zoom lenses, I think you meant to say "telephoto," since you are not interested in a long reach and going much beyond 50mm. I've heard good things about that Samyang 35mm f/2.8 pancake lens and I gave it some thought before going with my choice of the Sony 35mm f/1.8. I decided I wanted the faster lens and the autofocus. So far I have not gone on a walk around the neighborhood with my 35mm but when the weather gets warmer that is something I plan to do, as it seems like a really terrific focal length for that purpose and would challenge me to see the opportunities inherent there.

Zoom lenses really are great for providing more flexibility in focal lengths and the results we can get from them are often really amazing. I am still wrestling with decisions about do I just pick up a 16-35mm zoom to cover my wide range and be done with it, or do I go with primes? So many choices, and (often) so much money goes into our decisions, right?!

Never been much of a prime lens person. Think I only own two and hardly ever use them.

Lovely image and b/w conversion.
(are we on 'J' already??, things are moving fast)
Cheers @oblomow. This has been the wettest February on record for us with storms each of the last three weekends (and not much better midweek). That explains the still life stuff I’ve been posting ?
