I love to see those pink wavy tufts every Spring here in NC. They must be indigenous across the country. They are called the Persian Silk or Mimosa tree. I think you and I had this conversation last year when I posted a photo of one.
Had intended to post this on Valentines Day but it completely slipped my brain.

Yeah, they are beautiful. It's non-native in the US but widespread, brought here from Asia in 1745 -

Sunrise Ski Resort is in the White Mountains, about 125 miles east and south of Flagstaff... While Flagstaff is beautiful in the winter, I much prefer the White Mountains (Show Low, Greer, Pinetop-Lakeside and more).

Still learning how to polar align and identify targets for deep sky photography using a star tracker. This was a single image but hopefully I'll be able to start stacking them for a better quality photo soon.

Interestingly, we had a big winter storm come through Arizona the past two days... and the Snow Bowl (and much of northern Arizona) shut down for a day or so while they dug out... Snow Bowl was closed because of high winds (in the 75-80 MPH range).

Spring has pushed itself into our lives early this year. The daffodils and other assorted flowers are up, the trees are all budded and blooming, and the temps are abnormally high. Don't know what it means, but the nature photo opportunities I look forward to every year are already starting to appear.
