The Cliff Palace

Arizona? Looks like the cliff dwellings at Sedona. Most of my family is somewhere in Arizona now. I last saw this place (if I'm correct) in the film days of old... Interesting lizards all over the place.

Nope … It's in Mesa Verde N.P. in southern Colorado , near the 4 Corners.IIRC there's 7 of these sites open for access with a ranger , plus lots more you can't get into, but can only view from the mesa top . There's quite a few elsewhere , in the neighboring Ute reservation , and Canyon de Chelly.

I just finished a good book on this topic, 'In Search of the Old Ones', by David Roberts, I highly recommend it.
