New Year's resolution - Take more photos this year!

So here's my first of the year on a shopping trip to Milton Keynes this morning - famously the most photogenic place in the UK ;)

Maybe a Cooper's, maybe a Sharpie. I can't get a good look at the tail and it was ultimately pretty far away. Obviously difficult to expose well too :).

Your exposure looks spot on to me!

Fantastic use of light.

Is that a daffodil?

👍

Actually, it's a small tulip. The bright yellow bunch caught my eye the other day in the store. It was fun playing with the one flower during yesterday's messy weather, a reminder that yes, Virginia, there IS a Springtime! I can hardly wait until March and the daffodils start popping up in the front of our building!

We have some snowdrops in our new garden. Possibly some daffodils as well. Hard to say until they flower.

"Bird-on-a-stick" snap, in this case, the "stick" is a utility pole and the bird is (I think) a Ferruginous Hawk. It was being most uncooperative and I couldn't get a view of its chest. These are rather massive, though not as large as a Bald Eagle. They love a nice tasty (but cute!) Prairie Dog for their dinner, and there are a lot of these (cute!) snacks out at the local wild life refuge.
