Yeah, I mentioned it with you in mind ;)
It's not really a fisheye though, and I managed to straighten it out fairly easily.

Cheers :)

Hugh
I actually don’t want the distortion, and I’m impressed with what you get prior to any straightening. Sometimes just a mild crop or framing the horizon near the middle eliminates the need altogether.

I’ve been ignoring my fisheye. Bet it’s not been on my camera for 2-3 years!
Yes, but when you did use it I remember some great shots :)

I have the Fisheye Hemi plugins (for straightening the fisheye effect) but they are far too aggressive for this lens, so I just used the lens distortion tool in Elements.
I'm using it as an ultra wide angle for landscapes on my infrared cameras, hence I don't need the curved effects.

Cheers :)

Still trying to get my feet wet with this whole astrophotography thing.
Here is the Orion Nebula:

How are you doing this? what are you shooting it on? I tried it last week and my attempt was crap compared to this.

A large knot on a tree.
Looks like a giant fist coming out of the trunk.

Looks like someone punched it from the other side and it is made of jelly... nice

Where’s yours?

Must have used photoshop to fill the bottle back up. No true Scotsman would have any left after Hogmanay!
Ah, but what is it filled with? Tea actually.

Playing like this makes you appreciate how much effort goes into proper product photography - you see every flaw and reflection when you look closely.

Here's my little boy, Dominic, yesterday enjoying his lunch (actually, it's about to slide off his plate!) I took it on my iPhone SE and used the Color Splash app I've just discovered (I know it's been around ages - I am always late discovering things!) Photography purists may not be keen on it, but it's a fun app and I like the affect.
