.....And, ahem, yes, TIME is going to be what you'll need in approaching this kind of project!!!! Then again, I think, Molly, you already have pretty much of a dedicated studio-type setup with actual studio lighting (beauty dish, soft boxes, etc.), and that will make a difference and with this kind of thing will be a bit of a time-saver for you.

A quick and dirty test of higher than usual ISO's on my DC-G9
12-60@12 , f2.8@1/160 , ISO 1600
I find 1600 to still be pretty good on the G9–even up to 3200. 4000-5000 can be salvageable under the right conditions. I also have that lens, so usually such extremes aren’t necessary. How long have you had the G9?

I got it right after Christmas . Went into my local camera shop to get a battery for my EOS-1 film camera . Got to talking with one of the guys there and mentioned I wanted to get a lighter travel kit as I was tired of hauling a near 20 lb bag through airports . So he hands ma a G9 and 12-60 , puts a card in it and lets me play around with it . When I saw the images on an iMac in the shop , the sale was done . Plus the amazing EVF helped .Took a while to get it set up the way I want , but I'm pretty sure it's there now .
Good to know that 3200 is OK as I'm looking forward to shooting night skies in a few months . Ended up selling off some stuff to finance the purchase , but I'm still in hock from the other glass I got . (50-200 , 15 1.7 , 7.5 2 Laowa , 45 Macro ) Travel bag's down to around 14 lbs now . Wallet's lighter , too

Nice! Did you also update to the 2.0 firmware? It’s a pretty big improvement. I also frequent mu43.com, as it’s a nice community and members there post lots of sample shots from various lenses. Here’s what one poster managed to do with that Laowa:
