Wild blueberries (Alaska). Photo taken in September a few years ago with a Canon 7D and the EF-100mm Macro lens:

By the way, these wild blueberries are found in the Northernmost reagins around the world (Siberia, Alaska.
Interestingly, the antioxidant capacity of wild blueberries was 48 percent higher than that of cultivated blueberries.

On another forum we're doing a week of sharing images of our old photography gear. I don't have much old stuff now, but I went into a closet and retrieved my first digital camera, which I purchased in 1998: the Nikon Coolpix 900. Can't fire her up any more, but I dusted her off and shot a few images of her. This was such a unique and fun little camera to use, and I always loved her, fascinated by the possibilities of digital imaging.

So, this is the Hotel Maison Rouge, Cotonou, Benin. When I stayed there it was owned and run by a Parisian property man, Xavier, and his wife, Petra, a German art dealer and lover of the amazing local art. The entire place was an art space. Every room had art and every public space was a gallery and all the art was for sale (I didn’t dare ask how much).

Taken with an Olympus E-PL1 back in 2013. Wonderful hotel run by a lovely couple.
