Our house was just on the other side of the tracks from Montclair State, now University, on Clove Road. I went to College High School on the MSC campus for six years (7-12). It was a "demonstration" high school for student teachers. We only had 30 kids in a class 15/15 split. We had the same class hours as the college students, 10 minutes between classes, no home rooms, free to go off campus, eat at the college cafeteria. Great prep for going to college later, no differenced! Graduated 1962. Look on Google maps, you will be amazed at their growth. Quarries are gone, University took over all the land.Sure is . I went to college down the road from you at Montclair State .South Bergen County boy most of my life .
It sure has changed !!! I graduated in '71 . Up until Covid , I was involved with some summer sessions and saw the changes over the years . New buildings all over the place , the mud lot is long gone , no more quarry , dorms out in the middle of nowhere , its own NJT station (besides the one on Clove . Plus a diner .Our house was just on the other side of the tracks from Montclair State, now University, on Clove Road. I went to College High School on the MSC campus for six years (7-12). I'm curious what the story is here.... if there is one.
May I (with trepidation) ask what this food is?
.. love your turtle photos ... and wish I was with him/her for some of that sun. It's so damp, dark, and dismal here, but quite "normal" for this time of year.View attachment 2340533 Getting some sun ☀️
