Love Stelller's Jays. We get a ton at our yard feeder and now they've been joined by California Scrub Jays that are working their way north. Very entertaining birds!

My morning walk and saw about 20 gators. This gives an idea of the environment with ponds on each side and lacking barriers. There were actually two more about 10 feet away on each side of me at waters edge where I took this photo. I didn't proceed and try to shoo him off the trail, but let them have the path today.

lol - saw similar in Miltenburg, Germany and (famously) Brussels. Similar displays would cause outrage and demands for removal here in the US. I like Europe.
