I was driving past a windfarm, yesterday, as a storm was brewing. I got a few seconds of sunlight before the rain came. Strange how the odd light makes the huge pillars look like little plastic kits...

Good thing there is that little plastic sheep in the left bottom corner, it emphasizes the plastic nature of the pillars ... ;)

@ Doylem

1) I am jealous of the area you live in. And not because of the sheep...:D
2) The windfarm shot: I have some pics pre-storm that look very much like that. The lighting makes it either look fake or an HDR image.

They look like you've pasted them in afterwards with Photoshop! And that's one stupid sheep, somebody left the gate open yet it's still standing there! Are those the turbines you can see from the M6 near Tebay?

This is a picture of my Golden Retriever, Odin on walk in the Northern Woods of Minnesota on Saturday.

I'm still pretty amateur so I don't intend to critisise it, I would be happy to take that shot especially as animals don't tend to do as their told and you've had 1/10th of a second to take it! I just had a question for the others, the op used a relatively short depth of field and it looks like the autofocus has focused on the stick/nose. I would have tried to get the eyes a bit sharper or use a larger depth of field (although I do like the tail being a little out.) What would be the recommended approach?
