Wherever I hang my hat...
Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate I broke the rules by posting another, but which do you prefer? I think I went past 1:1 on the tighter crop - it was taken on my 85 prime from about 15m away so it's already heavily cropped!

Can you post another version... cropped from bottom, but not cropped on the left... and let the people decide...

That's North! Does it get light in winter at all?

For about two weeks either side of longest day, it is light enough work in the garden or walk around the wilds.Sunrise and sunset last forever it seems.

Sometimes I get well tired before the day ends but still wake in daylight.

Should be massively productive during these weeks:(.

Regards Sharkey

OOOPS:- didn't answer the question. In winter we have horizontal weather 24/7, 4hour days, a lot of whisky (not), lots of layers between skin and air and a long wait till spring. Winter lasts 8months, spring 1month, autumn 1month and summer is in the imagination of whichever God happens to be in charge in your world.

Got to spend some time in Iceland recently. What a remarkably beautiful country...with sights to photograph at every turn.

Great experience being able to walk right up to the base of a very large waterfall.

Taken close to Corsewall Point, these partially submerged rocks curve out towards Ailsa Craig and remind me of giant stepping stones. The dreamy, surreal effect of the water and cloud movement was created by a long exposure of 4 minutes and really adds to the mysterious feel of the image.

Right I am getting sick of now, one good photo is quite enough....let alone a whole series!

Epic set knocking it put of the park!! Well done I would be extremely pleased with any update them!

Superb colours

There is a joke here in the UK that "the Scottish summer occurs every year on the second Tuesday of June between 3pm and 4pm".

Another portugal shot.

Nice. Looks like you had a lovely holiday.

Mine for today is another flower. It probably has a name. I think of it as a purple flower! (I'm rubbish with flower names! @Ish used to tell us the correct ones!)
