Hmmm.....hope this doesn't count against me today! Although truthfully I don't know what the box cover photos usually are.

I was just going off the shape. They used to be rectangle like your picture, then they changed the shape so they could stack a few more in a container.

We never quite had enough to try this at work!

You said earlier than, not newer than. So I was confused. It's the 2017. :) And the box is wedge shaped.

Does it make me an Apple Fanboy if I know that box design means it's an earlier than 2014 model?

Yup....

But you and i both were thrown by visual sorcery by @mollyc. I thought it was square too....

I'm a clever photographer. :eek::D

I hope you are clever with charging the keyboard and mouse... they give less hints about their charging status than a poker pro does their hand!

And they are a pita while charging. Mouse cannot be used, keyboard can if plugged into the main unit. Having said that the mouse can get a few hours worth of charge in the time it takes you to make a coffee so it isnt all bad.

Sorry moaning again...

I thought these two were quite the interesting couple, but the guy on the right definitely wasn't happy having his picture taken by a completely random stranger. I've learnt there is no such thing as anonymity when it comes to trying to capture street portraits with a hulking DSLR setup. :rolleyes:

Yes the mouse thing is dumb but at least I've seen enough memes about that to be aware. I schlep my kids around enough every day to get a good charging time. I'm upgofrom a 2012 that uses batteries in everything.

I am excited by the numeric keypad though!!

I always thought asking first is the right thing to do?
Sure it might lose the "spontaneity", but… well maybe I am just old fashioned. :)

Nice pic though.

Then you definitely lose the spontaneity or moment, so to speak, and end up with a posed image, which is not what street photography is about.

There's different laws in different countries surrounding taking images of others. Here in Australia, in most places, you don't need their permission if they are in public spaces.
