Okay, let's see if I can finally post this correctly:

More Blue Angels. As you can see, they fly pretty low, loud and close. There were a few times when 300mm was too much zoom and I missed the shot.

Nice! The last air show I was at I had a few problems catching the fly bys with the 300mm zoom I had but when talking to a few of the other photographers there with the 600mm zooms they said that it was just a matter of timing with the panning and setting a high enough shutter speed. One of the guys said that he practiced by taking shots of planes at the air port landing and taking off and with flying birds.
