Another old photo that I rediscovered when reviewing all of my old pics for possible printing. This one from a trip to Italy in 2013.
Senatus Populusque Romanus (usually translated as "The Senate and People of Rome")
I didn't crop out the tips of my feet in the pic as I thought their presence adds a sense of visual orientation--it was taken shooting down at the street and it isn't a wall, for example. Arguably the cigarette butts serve this purpose, but I thought the tips of my shoes in the image help to orient the viewer rather than serve as a distracting element. Perhaps a poor judgement call

Now that’s a shed!
Taken with my iPhone last night. Every year in July my home town of Butte, MT hosts the Montana Folk Festival. A 3 day event of FREE music of all varieties from bluegrass to eclectic African, zydeco and event Mid East and Far East music. There are multiple stages scattered throughout the uptown area including the main stage you see at The Original Headframe. From here you have views of the East Ridge and all of the Summett Valley! Butte is a copper mining town and at one time 25% of all of the world's copper was mined from the "Richest Hill in the World." Butte is a mile high in elevation and a mile deep with the now closed mines. Multiple head frames such as this are still present. If you're ever in MT in July head on over for 3 days of fun, music and beautiful scenery.
