Another old photo that I rediscovered when reviewing all of my old pics for possible printing. This one from a trip to Italy in 2013.
Senatus Populusque Romanus (usually translated as "The Senate and People of Rome")
I didn't crop out the tips of my feet in the pic as I thought their presence adds a sense of visual orientation--it was taken shooting down at the street and it isn't a wall, for example. Arguably the cigarette butts serve this purpose, but I thought the tips of my shoes in the image help to orient the viewer rather than serve as a distracting element. Perhaps a poor judgement call
