Last night's effort from me, a place I still can't believe is abandoned! It's got focus this time on the stars, whilst keeping the foreground acceptably in focus too. I am looking forward to coming back and checking these images out as I learn how to truly finesse them in Photoshop (Affinity Photo for me). There is so much detail in there that I just can't conjure at this moment with my editing lack of awareness! :)

This was a sixteen frame panorama, with four rows of four frames in landscape orientation. The moon being almost a half moon made all the difference when compared to the colour and details I got in my image on Saturday night!

Only temporary! It didn't take him long to quickly groom himself, carefully smoothing down those unruly feathers! He had looked so regal and pristine before diving into the lake after a fish, but when he came out -- oooh, quite another story! Wet feathers and wind wreaked havoc. LOL! Sad thing is, he didn't even manage to get a fish that time, either.

Well when you are picking up the seed for the birds and squirrels tomorrow, perhaps you could buy some nice salmon for him!

Hee, hee, now wouldn't that be a treat for him?!! Better yet, I could just leave it on the deck in yet another tray, and Alfred wouldn't be able to resist landing on the deck to see what the special treat for him is?! ROTFL!!!!! Even behind the closed sliding door I could get some really up-close and personal images of him that way......

Being stuck at home getting these hummingbirds has become a pretty fun challenge. This is at high speed/ISO outside in the sun but I'm going to be playing around with a multiple flash/trigger setup here in the next couple of weeks as well.

Sounds like every fisherman I’ve ever met. :D

Where's the butterfly? I've looked but I can't see it ;)

Cheers :)

Oh no! Have I become a one-trick pony? :p
