That’s really good. Is it me or have you upped your game of late? You’ve had some belters in the last few weeks.
Thank you for the kind words. I think it's probably been a combination of things. I've had some really fortunate opportunities as of late, I've tried to settle in to the gear I have (both in terms of camera and the post-process side) instead of looking at the other side of the fence, and I've been a little more particular about the content I'm sharing.

Sometimes it's feast and famine for the photographer. I actually have a pretty good backlog of shots right now in the "share" pile, and then I end up getting even more opportunities. The one above I took this morning and was really excited that I got a half-decent shot of these little dudes. They don't stay in one place very long, and in that reflective spot was the only place where lighting was even remotely decent to get a good exposure. I probably took 10-12 shots, maybe 3 were actually sharpish, while a few just had a water ripple as the strider zipped on. A fun exercise!

Only thing that shot needs is printing and hanging.

One of the most majestic photos I’ve looked at on this forum. May I ask where this was taken? (I totally understand some members are private with locations if you don’t want to answer that..)

Thanks

This picture was taken in Belgium (Wallonia), Europe, a country that I have traveled to regularly.
