Did a bit of rock climbing at the weekend. Sneaky one handed iPhone xr shot with the belay plate locked off in the other.

Not there but it does have a crack from dropping it on a hill summit the other month.
Yeah, the PL100-400 can be a very rewarding lens when you manage to nail the desired focus. It can also make for some frustration when you miss just the right focal plane!
Glad he stood still long enough to focus on his head. Great depth of field control.
my son gave me back my old D700, which means now I can try freelensing and reverse freelensing. This is with an old 50mm lens reverse freelensed.
An Osprey nesting on top of a power line pole. I drove to the top of a gravel dam to make the shot's angle narrower, and used a Canon RF 100-500mm lens plus a 1.4 TC (photo cropped to 100%).
