I didn’t know about the price hikes.I have been itching to use film again, however the film cost has $$$
i use a macro lens to take a photo of the negative then convert it to a positive. if you google “camera scanning” you should find some tutorials. paying for scans is expensive! Thanks!
I have a lot of pictures taken by this Canon. Many of the beautiful and stunning mountains in the north😊
The only problem is that I don’t have a scanner. I know, if you’re a real photographer you should have one🙂
Idk if I take a photo of a photo is good enough?
I probably should buy a scanner and start to scan. I have so many printed photos and also slides from me and my siblings from our youth.
But it’s so much work😂
average color film is currently $13-20 a roll depending on which film stock.I didn’t know about the price hikes.
How much is it in USA?
Color Film would be about $12-$15 USD / 35mm roll excluding processing and scanning.I didn’t know about the price hikes.

my local lab charges $9 for dev and another $9 for scanning for color. bw dev is actually more.Color Film would be about $12-$15 USD / 35mm roll excluding processing and scanning.
My last calc on B/W was around $30 / roll, Film, Process, Scan - of course cheaper if you DIY.
$18 plus Film cost. I would require high-quality scans which make up a big part of the cost. I don't plan on doing Film processing again - don't have the patience.my local lab charges $9 for dev and another $9 for scanning for color. bw dev is actually more.
that’s why i scan at home. my daughter and i both shoot film so i’ve more than made up the costs of getting some hardware for camera scanning.$18 plus Film cost.
