.. our Kerry Blue Terrier used to lay out like that .. and when sleeping, our cat used to sneak up and attempt to pull his whiskers - Blitz (dog) was a real gentleman though -- took what he could take of such action, and then just got up and left the room.

It's mid August, this tree sits right along a river bank. There is no excuse for this midsummer display of false colors.
