The main pond in our condo complex is about twenty-five feet away from our lanai, so I'm able to see lots of birds and smaller wildlife milling around out there. Note: I need a longer zoom lens!
Occasionally, we'll get a gator to spend some time with us, like this one that decided to float past the fountain in the pond. I just happened to be playing around with my Z50II when it appeared, so I grabbed a quick shot.

Well it looks like I'm about to lose my beautiful view; I knew it would happen one day and apparently that day has come. I don't know what they are going to build outside my window, but that is NOT field-maintenance machinery. I've had a good run....10 years, and I've been needing to move downstairs, I just didn't want to give up my view...now I suppose I don't have an excuse.
