Weather moving in on Mt. Rainier. At the time I shot this, there was a search in progress for climbers who had been caught in an avalanche. That was last Saturday and the weather developing here hindered the rescue. All but one of the missing climbers have been found safe. The last is presumed dead.

You can reach this mountain so easily that it takes something like this to remind us of how dangerous it can be.

Great photo. Nice use of framing. The color of the workers uniforms is a great contrast to the drab look of the sculpture they are working on. I also like the way that the stone people seem to be disturbed by the presence of the modern day folks.

Excellant all the way around. Light, framing and color make this one top notch. It would look super as a large print on my wall.
