Hey, what are best seasons for hiking in Colorado?
Depending on where you want to go. Right now is nice unless it's raining. I went hiking the week before last and it was beautiful. A little chilly but it was better than when its raining. Looks like our Monsoon season hasn't stopped yet.
Other than that, you can go backpacking or hiking all year long but definitely it depends on where you want to go. I always go to either Aspen, Colorado Springs and definitely towards Victor going through Gold Camp Road, but since I'm in Breckenridge, I'm also biased because I love it here and don't even get me started with Snowboarding. But definitely if you ever come to CO dont miss the Manitou Springs Incline. If I could go every day I would but since I'm on chemo, I try to do it at least once a week and the hour drive is totally worth it! :D

For AFB, Macry & those others here that do not have green thumbs. I present you the magic flower, no soil needed! :p This image was taken at the height of our Summer downunder.

Absolutely wonderful colours, so rich and vibrant. Welcome aboard & all the best with the continuing chemo treatment. Keep making the effort to get back out there walking, it's well worth the hours drive to visit and re-visit such beauty!
