Lovely stonework and colour - the flowers in the grass add a bit of something as well. Nice.
To keep the door theme going, here's a church door from Venice - not as grand but full of its own character.

Another door taken a while ago. Sorry guys, maxed at work and a backlog of pics to process but here is a door from the Necropolis.

That's a great looking bird. The contrast of the blue against the green is nice.Eastern Bluebird
Really like this one but can't help but think they have been out dumping a body...

Guys,
Please can you help me. I took this last night, looked amazing in the flesh but camera failed to capture what I saw. The clouds here are just too damn soft.
What could I have done to improve this?
Ken.

Now your user name makes more sense!
Ken, you know I'm crap at PP, but I brought the shadows up and maybe improved it a bit?

Hi Ken,
I'm not sure about the clouds being soft (they look ok to me in this small image size) but for the next time...
Compose, expose and focus for the star of of your shot. In this case I'm thinking it's the moon and the sky. Looks to me like you've tried to capture too much. I wonder how the shot would have looked:
- in landscape orientation,
- with increased exposure in the sky to capture more of the cloud detail, and
- with just a small slice of the ground and the city lights (the group of lights in the distance only) to give the shot perspective and to anchor the composition.
IMO, the foreground city lights are too prominent and they detract from the moon and clouds.
