Out for a walk yesterday. A 5-shot hand-held panorama merged with Hugin. I'm amazed at how good a job this free software does - it can't make a silk purse though.....comments always appreciated.

Lovely IMO.

Nice. I like event pictures but I am stumped how to get clean images in dim light without adding a Sony A7s to my GAS
Try DXO. Best noise reduction software I've ever seen.

View attachment 559230 This is my favorite photo. It was taken on an Alaskan cruise several years ago. We had been in College Fjord on a cloudy, rainy day and had seen nothing but clouds. While at dinner, suddenly this scene opened up. A lot of baked Alaska went uneaten that night. Taken with my Canon Point and Shoot.

There is always more baked alaska, moments like these, not so readily available. Nice capture. Lovely colours!

I'm just beginning to get things figured out. At one point I had a post with only a link that didn't work, but somehow I got the photo to post. I'm glad you liked it. It should be called 'Serendipity.'

Now, that's the definition of "leading lines!" Great composition, doylem. The tracks in the grass leading up to the gate initially seemed like an afterthought to me until my eyes kept moving through the photo. Now they only want me to know who made them,
