Lol! Lovely, and you've captured the colour beautifully. Without seeing the rest, though, I couldn't tell you what kind of Campanula it is. ;)

What on earth's happened to the 'wink'. It looks more like an evil grimace!!
I'll take a wider shot. We have a small walled garden with a Pieris and some heather. It's grown up between them, so I'm not sure you'll get many clues.

Bravo on this series of street people shots. I'd not be brave enough. What was the inspiration?

Went back to the Swan Point Cemetery this weekend. Little wind, which made the water smoother though not as dramatic as the first pic of this scene I posted last month. Overall though I think I'm (relatively) happy with this version. :) On a side note, need to fix my avatar for the new forums....

Adam, it's great to see you getting engaging images of those whom are for the most part unseen.

Thanks guys. What can I say? I like taking portraits. In the studio, on the street...wherever I can.

As for inspiration, well Alexander of Oz pretty much nailed it. Nobody sees these people, or if they do, they pretend not to. I don't think that's right.

Plus shooting street photography predominately in manual mode, I've only really got one shot at getting these images and that makes it a great challenge for me. Anyone can shoot a shopfront, a car or street sign post try discretely pointing a full frame DSLR and big lens at folk and not pissing them off.

This person got pissed off...even after I threw her a buck and asked if she minded me taking her photo. :D
