Tiny wild flowers
Weedflower 6x.jpg

I hang one by a wire from a tree branch. They tried to jump to it a few times, but moving it out another foot solved that. I think the sparrows dump enough on the ground that diving to the feeder is too much work.

I thought I was being smart. I put a feeder on a branch with a bungee cord. Couple days later I find it on the ground, stripped clean. I refill it, rehang it. Next day its on the ground stripped clean again. Refill it, rehang it, keep an eye on it. A squirrel jumps from a neighboring tree, lands on it, the bungee stretches, snaps back, the squirrel does an artful half jump, half flip off the falling feeder, then runs over and starts cleaning it out. Damn smart fearless suckers. Wow. That put an end to that idea. Good grief. And here I thought it was deer that were knocking it down.

I had a short pop down to London this week for a meeting and managed to get some time to wander near Waterloo station. after all of these years I have discovered the tunnel on Leake Street where street artists can go do their thing legally and encouraged fully. It is really quite a bizarre location and there were a few model shoots going on when I wandered in.

After atmosferic river.jpg
So dry in so many places and in others too much : we had an atmospheric river on Thursday and we are
expecting some area to be flooded again. BC 😟
Yesterday I took this photo, so happy to see the sky blue again!
If I only could I would blow south and east lots of our clouds full of rain

Cool space, the ceiling looks interesting. I would probably get a sore neck photographing that.
